The 18th edition of POLFISH – the International Fish and Food Fair – will take place on 9–11 September 2026 at AMBEREXPO in Gdańsk. Registration for trade visitors is already open. We invite professionals from the fish and food sectors, HoReCa, retail and technology industries to join Poland’s leading meeting place for the seafood industry.
POLFISH 2026 is more than an exhibition of products and technologies. Above all, it is a platform for discussing the future of the sector, exchanging experience and building direct business relationships. This year’s programme focuses on the most important challenges currently facing companies in the fish and food industries.
One of the key topics of this year’s edition will be digitalisation and the use of artificial intelligence in the fish industry. During the debate “AI in the Fish Industry – Real Competitive Advantage or Technological Hype?”, experts and industry representatives will discuss where artificial intelligence can already deliver tangible business benefits and where it remains primarily a promise for the future.
The programme will also address product quality during transportation, sustainable fisheries, production efficiency and the future of family-owned businesses. Another important element will be a debate on the current state and future of the sector, providing an opportunity to confront different perspectives from industry representatives and organisations active in the fish market.
For many years, POLFISH has been a meeting place for entrepreneurs, public administration representatives, experts and industry organisations from Poland and abroad.
The importance of this year’s event is underlined by the broad group of institutions supporting POLFISH through honorary patronage and event partnerships. Honorary patronage of POLFISH 2026 has been granted, among others, by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture, the Main Inspectorate of Marine Fisheries, the Embassy of Norway, the Voivode of Pomerania, the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, the Marshal of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship and the Mayor of Gdańsk. The event is also supported by the City of Szczecin under its Patronage.
This year’s edition is supported by partners representing key areas of the fish, food, technology, gastronomy and business sectors.
